Pilates & Tea - An afternoon of Movement and Stillness
Some afternoons ask you to do more. This one asks you to slow down.
We're pairing a gentle outdoor Pilates flow with a guided Himalayan tea tasting, one hour for the body, one hour for the senses, held together by the same intention: coming back to yourself.
The Flow
Maroua, a certified Pilates instructor, will guide us through a gentle Pilates flow on the mat, surrounded by nature, the kind of setting that makes it easier to breathe deeper and let the mind catch up with the body. Everyone is welcome. No Pilates experience is needed; just bring yourself, some comfortable clothes, and a mat.
The Tasting
Once we're centered, we'll sit down together for a tea tasting led by Swikriti, a Darjeeling native. We'll taste our way through a small flight of Himalayan teas from Darjeeling, spring against summer, side by side, and talk about what actually separates the two. Along the way, you'll hear the stories behind the cup: the small farmers and independent makers who grow and craft this tea, and what Darjeeling looks like from a local's perspective, beyond what's printed on the label.
By the time the last cup is poured, you'll have moved your body, quieted your mind, and tasted a place through its tea.
